PFP Vault

Changelog

New features and fixes on PFP Vault.

  1. New

    Banners page

New Banners tab in the top bar with every banner. Members can download them (login required). In Admin → Banners you choose per banner whether it shows there.

  2. New

    API keys and documentation

Members can ask for an API key in Account → API by filling in a short form. Admins approve it in Admin → API keys, or create keys themselves. Keys look like pfpvault-… and have their own per-minute and per-day limits and usage stats.

Full documentation at /developers. New endpoints: /api/v1/banners and /api/v1/key.

  3. Improved

    Search by ID

Typing or pasting a PFP ID (or a /pfp/ link) in any search box opens that PFP directly. The API search does the same.

  4. New

    Photo importers

Admin → Import photos now has Openverse, Unsplash, Pixabay, Pexels, Wikimedia Commons, NASA and direct URLs.

    • Your own JSON API sources, set up in the admin without code, with a Test button
    • Script sources: .js files in data/importers/ (example in importers/example-source.js)
    • Exact duplicate files are skipped, also across sources
  5. New

    Members can make bundles

Account → My bundles → New bundle. The bundle and its new PFPs are reviewed together in the review queue.

  6. New

    Animated PFPs

GIF, animated WebP, APNG and MP4/WEBM clips up to 15 seconds. Animated label and a Motion filter on the homepage.
